In 2005 Tony won the Emilia-Romagna prize for ‘Pregnant Silence' in the 54th biennial Premio Faenza International Competition of Contemporary Ceramic held by the International Museum of Ceramic Art (MIC) Faenza, Italy (which holds the largest ceramic collection in Europe).
In 2007 Tony was selected to exhibit ‘In the Silence is the Dance’ (shown at top of page) in the 55th Premio Faenza. The 9 pieces were displayed in the courtyard as part of exhibition ‘I Maestri del Concorso’ which featured Goffredo Gaeta of Faenza, Pompeo Pianezzola of Italy and Tony Lattimer of Europe.

In 2013 Tony’s piece “Painterly” won the prestigious Premio della Regione Emilia-Romagna in the 58th Premio Faenza Competition. The jury selected the piece out of over 1200 works of art submitted by artists from 51 nations.
Director Claudia Casali described the work as ‘...essential and minimal in forms and gesture embedded within the deepest of poetic reflections.’
Tony currently has 2 pieces in the MIC permanent collection.
