In 2007 Tony was selected to exhibit his group of works entitled The Maidens at the International Museum of Ceramic Art (MIC) Faenza, Italy (which holds the largest ceramic collection in Europe) as part of their biennial Premio Faenza International Competition of Contemporary Ceramic.
In 2013 Tony’s piece “Painterly” won the prestigious Prize of Regione Emilia-Romagna in the 58th Premio Faenza Competition. The jury selected the piece out of over 1200 works of art submitted by artists from 51 nations.
Director Claudia Casali described the work as ‘...essential and minimal in forms and gesture embedded within the deepest of poetic reflections.’
Tony currently has 2 pieces in the MIC permanent collection.
